My boyfriend picked up a beautiful key lime pie from the Pietisserie pop up in Palo Alto (Town & Country Village) for my birthday this month, and it was absolutely phenomenal. While I will say that these pies are on the pricier side, they are made and packaged with care and the flavors are fantastic. The box that the pie came in was beautiful, and we actually used it to store the pie for about a week in the fridge after it was purchased. Additionally, it looks like the box itself came with some sort of a grater / zester which I'm not sure if that's the case with every pie. Onto the actual pie itself, the key lime filling was so so so creamy and melt-in-your-mouth good and the crust (my fav part of a pie) was buttery and delicious.

This review is actually for the Town and Country shop in Pao Alto, which is not listed here on Yelp. The shop itself is cute: sparse, but with some cute design elements. The pies are fabulous, but the most expensive pies I've ever had, at almost $30 each.

I was craving some key lime so hubby went to pickup some pies from this place. I was excited to see mini pies on their yelp page. He brought back: Key lime pie: 4/5 good smooth consistency, a little on the sweet side, could have been a bit more tart, but overall satisfying Black cherry pie: 3/5 the outside chocolate part was rich, reminded me of a rich chocolate brownie cake. Ps hubby said he didn't see any mini pies :(

Always a good feeling to cross another place off my bucket list. Had PieTisserie bookmarked for awhile now. So what did I think of this shop? PieTisserie is a charming little shop. There are a few tables to dine at, but most folks were buying their pies or slices to go. We got there early while they were still setting up. The woman who assisted us was nice and helpful. My wife and I decided to share two slices, and eat them there. Slice of Key Lime pie was excellent! May be the best I've eaten in California. It was creamy and not overly tart with a delicious crust. Slice of Black Bottom pie was good too. Would order this flavor again also. Would I return? Yes, I sure would. I look forward to trying more flavors in the future!!
